This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Digital Services at CMS (DSAC). As an IT Specialist (ENTARCH/SYSANALYSIS), referred to here as a Senior Software Engineer, GS-2210-15, you will work with a diverse group of stakeholders across the CMS, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Federal Government to improve the digital services that the government delivers to citizens and businesses.

This position is part of the Department of Defense (DoD), Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The incumbent will be responsible for serving as a Budget Analyst for Director for Strategy, Plans, and Resources.

Capital Case Section (CCS) attorneys advise and participate in capital prosecutions with the United States Attorney's Offices, including acting as co-counsel. CCS provides guidance and training on all death penalty matters including appeals, and the pre-trial and trial process. CCS attorneys also advise the Attorney General's Review Committee on Capital Cases on recommending whether to seek the death penalty in eligible cases and provide advice to senior DOJ staff on policy matters.

The incumbent serves as an attorney providing authoritative legal advice and litigation support on complex, high impact matters involving USDA's marketing, food safety, animal welfare, and plant protection programs, and, and performs other legal services as assigned including research, analysis and interpretation of federal, state and local laws, as well as oral and written opinions, memoranda, pleadings, briefs, general litigation support, in support of the agency's mission.
